Today is a first day of our excursion! We left at 10:00 to embark on our trip, leaving behind the very distressed dog and the ecstatic mother. On our first segment of the trip, we went to Washington DC (well, specifically Bethesda MD). On the ride there we 'ate fresh' at Subway, and listened to the beginning of War of the Worlds. We made it into the DC Beltline right before rush hour began.
After we got to my Grandma's house, we killed a couple hours (during which time Greta got a pretty bad nosebleed) and then left to Dad's friend Julie's house. I met her kids and we had fun jamming to guitar and piano, and then on Super Smash Bros and another Xbox 360 racing game. We left there at about 9:30, and I came home to write this message.
So far, so good!
